Dr. Stacy Fuchs
Dr. Fuchs is a graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She also holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. Originally from the east coast, Dr. Fuchs is glad to make her home here, near the beautiful North Carolina coastline. She resides in Jacksonville with her husband Otto (who is also her high school sweetheart) two cats and five dogs. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, swimming and trips to the beach.
Dr. Deidra Shuck-Lee
Dr. Shuck-Lee is a 1996 graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to a DVM, she holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology from Auburn University, a doctorate degree in virology from the University of Virginia, and a certificate in aquaculture and fish health from the University of Florida. Dr. Shuck-Lee is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine and has experience with small and exotic animal practice. She is a AAFP Certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Shuck-Lee has lived in many locations with her family as an officer in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. Now retired from service, she resides in Hampstead with her husband Robert, son Joshua, and a menagerie of pets including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, budgies, many reptiles, and amphibians. She enjoys gardening, music, photography, yoga, kayaking, and swimming.
Kristin Gass – Receptionist
Kristin is originally from Michigan, but relocated to the Jacksonville area from South Carolina. She has been in the veterinary field for 12 years. She has experience as an Office Manager, Technician, and Receptionist. She resides with her husband James, her Lab/ Pit Mix “Coal” and two cats “Chloe” and “Reese’s”. “Coal” was a rescue who struggled with heartworm disease and needed a lot of love and care to overcome the difficulties of treatment and “Reese’s” is a diabetic who needs specialized care.
