Dr. Fuchs earned her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Colorado State University. After completing an Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, she visited the beautiful North Carolina coast and never left.
She considers her greatest accomplishment and ever renewing source of joy to be found in the accumulation of all the pets she has had the privilege to assist owners to care for over the years of her career. To build and maintain the best relationships for her clients with their pets, she recommends to first lead with empathy and kindness. All the good stuff starts right there. In her free time, Dr. Fuchs can be found adventuring outdoors, digging in her garden or curled up with a good book in the middle of her pack of dogs and cats. Dr. Fuchs lives in Jacksonville NC with her husband of more than 30 years, 6 dogs, 2 cats, one ball python and loads of house plants.
